SUMMARY:26th PK/PD Expert Meeting (Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics) „Shaping the future – Quo vadis PK/PD?“
DESCRIPTION:Under the auspices of AGAH\n(Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Angewandte Humanpharmakologie e.V.) \n  \n\n\n\n	Announcement \nThe meeting takes place at the Berghotel Jägerhof\, Isny im Allgäu  (https://www.berghotel-jaegerhof.de/) under the auspices of AGAH (Association for Applied Human Pharmacology / Arbeitsgemeinschaft für angewandte Humanpharmakologie e.V.). The meeting starts with a joint dinner on 14th  March 2024. The scientific program begins on Friday morning\, 15th  March 2024 and ends on Saturday\, 16th  March 2024 at lunchtime. \nPlease save the date. In contrast to previous years and to allow better planning\, registration is already open now via Registration and contact. \nPresentations and associated discussions will focus on the following topics: \n"Shaping the future – Quo vadis PK/PD?“ \n\nHow do PK/PD principles support new modalities? – Contributions and challenges \nBeyond traditional models: New approaches with high impact on PK/PD\nAdvancements in classical topics: Recent approaches in pediatrics\n\nFurther information including the detailed program can be found under the following link: http://www.pkpd-expertentreffen.de where you can also register already now. \nIf you would like to learn more about the concept and background of the PK/PD Expert Meeting\, please read more in its Charter available on the website. \n  \nPlease note that the number of participants is limited. Your confirmed registration therefore does not only depend on the time of registration\, but also on the receipt of payment of the registration fee. Registrations without payment within 4 weeks after invoicing (the date of issue counts) will incur a reminder fee 10.00 EUR\, which must be paid in any case. Registrations\, further 2 weeks without payment after receipt of the reminder fee\, are considered cancelled and the place will be given to colleagues on the waiting list. The reminder fee must be paid in any case. The award is kindly sponsored by the Frankfurt Foundation Quality of Medicines . \nIf you are a Doctorate student or young scientist and want to apply for this award\, send your peer-reviewed\, published manuscript as a pdf file to Dr Joachim Höchel.  The winner will be informed by 20th December 2023\, present their work during the meeting and will be announced on the website of the PK/PD Expert Meeting. \nMaster / Doctorate students: Best presentation award \nThree young PK/PD scientists will be given the opportunity to give an oral presentation of their work (5 min) as part of the main conference. All presenters will participate in the meeting free of charge (incl. accommodation). The best presenter will be honored and will receive the “Young Scientist Best Presentation Award” endowed with 200 € plus reimbursement of travel expenses. \nIf you are a Master thesis or Doctorate student and want to apply for this award\, send an abstract (1 page maximum) to  Dr Joachim Höchel.
