DESCRIPTION:Under the auspices of AGAH\n(Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Angewandte Humanpharmakologie e.V.) \n  \n\n\n\n	Announcement \nThe meeting takes place at the Landgut Stober (www.landgut-stober.de) close to Berlin under the auspices of AGAH (Association for Applied Human Pharmacology / Arbeitsgemeinschaft für angewandte Humanpharmakologie e.V.). The meeting starts with a joint dinner on April 20th\, 2023. The scientific program begins on Friday morning\, April 21st\, and ends on Saturday\, April 22nd\, at lunchtime. \nPlease save the date. In contrast to previous years and to allow better planning\, registration is already open now via this direct LINK. \nPresentations and associated discussions will focus on the following topics: \n\nDDI – What is new 2023?\nTranslation to & from patients - Concepts to address the translational challenge\nDrug development for brain diseases – New Approaches\n\nFurther information including the detailed program can be found under the following link: http://www.pkpd-expertentreffen.de where you can also register already now. \nIf you would like to learn more about the concept and background of the PK/PD Expert Meeting\, please read more in its Charter available on the website. \nPlease note that the number of participants is limited. Your confirmed registration therefore does not only depend on the time of registration\, but also on the receipt of payment of the registration fee. The award is kindly sponsored by the Frankfurt Foundation Quality of Medicines. \nDoctorate students and young scientists\, who want to apply for this award\, send their manuscript published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal as a pdf file by February 17th\, 2023 to Dr Andreas Kovar (andreas.kovar[@]sanofi.com). The winner will be informed by March 24th\, 2023\, present their work during the meeting and will be announced on the website of the PK/PD Expert Meeting. \n  \nMaster / Doctorate students: Best presentation award \nIn 2019\, a special event was launched allowing a limited number of young PK/PD scientists (master thesis students and doctorate students) to give short presentations of their work followed by a short discussion with the auditorium. \nMaster thesis students and doctorate students\, who want to apply for this award\, send an abstract of their presentation (1 page maximum) by February 17th\, 2023 to Dr Andreas Kovar (andreas.kovar[@]sanofi.com) for selection of invitation. Three applicants will be selected and invited for presentation. Applicants will be informed by March 24th\, 2023. \nAll invited presenters will participate free of charge (incl. accommodation).
