SUMMARY:22nd PK/PD Expert Meeting (Pharmacokinetics / Pharmacodynamics)
DESCRIPTION:takes place on May 3 to 5 in Lenzkirch-Saig (Schwarzwald). \nThe registration for the meeting is now open and takes place exclusively via the following link: www.pkpd-expertentreffen.de. All further information including the agenda and the differentiated registration fees can also be found there. A limited number of young PK/PD scientists (doctorate student and post-doctoral fellow level) can apply to be supported by waiving the participation fee. \nPlease note that the number of participants is limited. Your confirmed registration therefore does not only depend on the time of registration\, but also on the receipt of payment of the registration fee. Registrations without payment within 4 weeks are considered cancelled and the space will be offered to colleagues on the waiting list. \nPresentations and associated discussions of this year’s meeting will focus on the following topics: \n\n\n\n	Topics \n\nAdvancement of PK and PKPD aspects of biologics\n“Kidney reloaded”\nStatus Update and Challenges of Cancer Immunotherapy\n\n\n\n\n\n	Content \nIf you would like to learn more about the concept and background of the PK/PD Expert Meeting\, please read its Charter available on the website. \nSince 2012\, generous donations have enabled the Organizing Committee of the PK/PD Expert Meeting to reward outstanding contributions by young scientists to the PK/PD field with the Hans Günter Schäfer Award (cash amount of 1000 EUR plus free meeting participation) issued in memory of the original initiator of the PK/PD Expert Meeting. \nDoctorate students and young scientists\, who want to apply for this award\, are invited to send their manuscript published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal as a pdf file by February 15th\, 2018 to Dr. Antje Walz (antje-christine.walz ( a t ) roche.com). The winner of the award will have the opportunity to present her or his work during the meeting and will be announced on the website of the PK/PD Expert Meeting. \nWe look forward to seeing you in Lenzkirch-Saig in May 2018. \nYour Organizing Committee
